About the Program:
How is addiction connected to the brain’s primary mission of keeping us alive? How does addiction “hijack” the brain? Why do addicts continue to seek the drug even as the rewards diminish? How can knowledge of the brain help rec overy? Dr. Walsh will explore these questions and more as he connects the d ots between cutting edge neuroscience and chemical dependency treatment.
This program qualifies for 3.0 continuing education credits. Yo u must attend the full 3-hour program to get continuing education credit fo r the event.

is Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Minnesota and is an award-win
ning psychologist, bestselling author, and international speaker. Dr. Walsh
has written ten books including the national best sellers Why Do They Act

d No: Why Kids – of All Ages – Need to Hear It and Ways Parents Can Say It.
His books have been translated into eight languages. He has also authored
