Counseling Center, Counselor/Assistant Professor (SA23000)

The Counseling Center is seeking a candidate to fill a full-time, 9 month position that includes a comprehensive benefits package. This position is a tenure-track faculty position, where candidates will provide culturally sensitive clinical and counseling services to currently enrolled students.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Provide short-term counseling to University students both in person and virtually.
  • Facilitate group counseling and wellness workshops.
  • Develop and present outreach and psycho-educational programming.
  • Crisis intervention and triage.
  • Provide clinical supervision to graduate trainees.
  • Engage in scholarly or creative activity, presentations, and/or research, continuing preparation and study, contributing to student growth and development, and providing service to the university and community (see Article 22 and Appendix G of the IFO Master Agreement).
