Qualified candidates are invited to apply for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Psychology position within the Department of Psychology and Family Science. 

This department, which is part of The College of Human Services and Behavioral Science (CHSBS), offers a variety of degree options and learning formats for students who are seeking an undergraduate Psychology major, including a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, a Bachelor of Arts (B.S.) degree, and a Psychology Minor. The successful candidate will teach courses in both the traditional face-to-face and accelerated online programs; however, the greatest teaching need at present is within the traditional face-to-face program. Preferably, the candidate will have a terminal degree in Clinical, Counseling, or a related field and be able to comfortably teach the following courses: Introduction to Psychology, Physiological Psychology, Introduction to Counseling, Group Counseling and Therapy, Abnormal Psychology, Introduction to Personality Theories, and Health Psychology. In addition, the candidate will be responsible, along with the department chair, for the supervision, coordination and growth of the department. Other responsibilities include active engagement in course design and curriculum development, program assessment, University service, and professional scholarship. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a history of student-centered teaching in the field of psychology and be able to affirm CSP's Promise Statement
