Job Description

Holland Center is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our growing team. Holland Center provides autism therapy services as well as psychological evaluations to children across the metro. This position will serve as the licensed professional overseeing the admissions and programming at one of our Twin Cities metro locations. This position will also conduct recurring and initial psychological assessments for children and adults to confirm or rule out autism. In this position, you will have the opportunity to supervise practicum students, provide individual psychotherapy (if desired), and help to grow the psychology department services that are offered.

Location and hours:

This position will be located at one of our metro locations: Minnetonka- 10273 Yellow Circle Dr., or Mendota Heights- 1160 Centre Pointe Dr. Work hours will typically be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.– 4:30 p.m.

About the position type:

This position is full time, benefit-earning.

In this position, you will: 

  • Provide clinical and programmatic oversight of treatment programs.
  • Review and sign off on treatment plans and progress notes compiled by BCBAs and behavior therapists.
  • Conduct psychological assessments measuring cognitive, adaptive, and behavioral functioning, produce a complete report, and provide feedback to the family.
  • Provide supervision to a doctoral assessment practicum student.
  • Collaborate with other professionals in multidisciplinary intake assessments to ensure appropriate fit for the program.
  • Look actively for ways to expand and grow services.
  • Support and lead continuous quality improvement and risk management culture.

Need to have:

  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-approved program with appropriate clinical training and one year of post-doctoral experience as a clinical psychologist in a medical or mental health setting appropriate to the area of specialization.
  • Current certification as a Licensed Psychologist (LP) by the Minnesota Board of Psychology or eligibility to become licensed within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience administering the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS). (If formal training was not received, but you have experience, Holland Center may be able to provide formal training.)
  • Experience working with children with autism.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis and working with Board Certified Behavior Analysts
  • Broad psychological testing experience with a variety of instruments.
