Pediatric Psychologist -- Gillette Children's

Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare is hiring a Pediatric Psychologist to split time across our St Paul and Maple Grove, MN clinics! Within this role, you will have the ability to contribute to outpatient psychology services for youth (generally aged 18 and under) patients. Patient care duties would include providing psychological testing services (e.g., IQ, academic, executive function, emotional, behavioral) as well as psychotherapy (including both individual and family-based intervention; common presentations include anxiety, depression, behaviors, parenting, adjustment to medical disability, pain). Opportunity exists, as well, to participate within a multidisciplinary feeding clinic to explore emotional and behavioral factors. Additionally, the position allows potential for contributing to medical care through pre-operative assessments and intervention. Consultation and planning with various members of the care team – including providers, nursing, rehab therapists, social workers, child life specialists, and a multitude of others – will be an important component of your work. Lastly, you will have the ability to join a fun, collaborative, and skilled team of psychologists & social workers.


  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology
  • Currently licensed psychologist through MN Board of Psychology, or License-Eligible (as allowable by law) with requirement to obtain MN license within 90 days of hire.  If License-Eligible, clinical work will be done under supervision of another licensed psychologist.
  • Documented completion of an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited internship
  • Experience working with children (18 years of age & younger)
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs of patients and/or organizational needs
