Minnesota Specialty Health System (MSHS) has a rewarding opportunity for a Mental Health Professional to provide clinical services for individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health conditions. As an Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) facility, MSHS Wadena focuses on rehabilitative education, building interpersonal skills, and developing community engagement skills, as well as increasing independence and self-management of their illness, behavior, and emotion. This full-time position works primarily weekdays, with occasional evenings and weekends as assigned. Join our team as a State of Minnesota employee!

Job Description:

•Service delivery includes individual and group therapies, comprehensive integrated assessment, participation in treatment team(s), and involvement in performance improvement and program development.
•Provide clinical oversight to program staff, assuring that client interventions reflect the expressed goals of clients and accurate assessment of client strengths and needs.
•Provide consultation to program staff regarding the plan and delivery of treatment for individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
•Provide technical assistance and clinical consultation to staff, offer sophisticated problem-solving skills during the course of consultation, and provide mentoring and educational experiences to staff to enhance the program's clinical capacity.
•Provide clinical leadership to treatment teams and help facilitate a collaborative and integrated person centered team process.
•Collaborate with the Treatment Director/Program Manager and Clinical Supervisor on providing clinical consultation on program design, admissions, discharges, utilization management, clinical policies and procedures.
•Develop and disseminate assessment and treatment tools including functional assessment, treatment planning and intervention strategies, and assesses clinical training needs for staff.
•Participate in reviewing referrals and providing on-call services for program.

Qualifications:

•Master's degree in psychology, social work, or closely related field from an accredited program; AND
•Licensed or eligible for licensure by the State of Minnesota as a professional Licensed Psychologist (LP) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
•Must meet the definition of Mental Health Professional as defined in MN Statue 245.462, subdivision 18 (https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/245.462)
