Forensic Services provides treatment of patients under civil and criminal commitment and conducts forensic evaluations. Care is provided for approximately 385 patients within a secure inpatient hospital, a supervised residential setting, and a nursing home. Forensic Services boasts dedicated professional staff providing person-centered care. The organization is Joint Commission accredited.

About the Opportunity:

Forensics Services is seeking a licensed senior psychologist to join our team in a rewarding career as a Senior Consulting Psychologist/Behavioral Medicine Practitioner (BMP) within our Forensics Behavioral Health Support Department. The BMP provides psychological services as part of the behavior support team to assess treatment needs for behaviorally challenging individuals. The “BMP” supports treatment teams through behavior assessments, data analysis, and development and implementation of behavior support strategies. In addition, the Senior Psychologist/BMP provides clinical consultations, person centered support recommendations, training and guidance to teams as assigned. S/He provides clinical direction to department peers in implementation of these strategies. The BMP delivers treatment groups, assists in program development and maintenance, and gives individual assistance to patients as needed. Knowledge and experience in behavior management and modification for individuals with developmental disabilities and related conditions and other serious and persistent mental disorders are needed.
