site is getting an average of 750 page views per day in the first six months
since its redesign.
Advertising Policy:The publication of any advertisement is not an
endorsement of the advertiser or of the product or services provided by the
advertiser. The Minnesota Psychological Association reserves the right to
reject or edit advertisements.
Scheduling:Ads will remain on the site for 30

Primary Function & Major Responsibilities: Position will provide direct mental health services to adults in an outpatient setting. Position will assess the cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and psychological aspects of the patient and with the patient establish appropriate goals for treatment. Position will provide appropriate treatment using the most efficient and effective clinical methodology, and actively review progress toward goals. Position will provide individual and group therapy, case consultation, and crisis/triage services. Position will practice in an interdisciplinary setting and actively participate in utilization review and other quality management activities.
Qualifications: Licensed to practice independently in Minnesota. PhD, PsyD, Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
Experience: One year post license in an outpatient setting preferred.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Sound knowledge of therapy, theory and practice; demonstrated skills in developing and maintaining therapeutic relationships, excellent communication skills; strong problem solving skills; must possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret available information to identify patient needs; must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care.

This is a regular faculty position in a new (opening Fall, 2010) doctoral training program (PsyD) in Counseling Psychology offered by Saint Mary’s of Minnesota at our Twin Cities Campus in South Minneapolis. The position is initially configured with ½ time assigned to Director of Training duties and ½ time assigned to core faculty teaching and advising duties. The Director of Training is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of all program activities related to practicum and internship training.
