Responsibilities include: individual, family, group therapy, assessments, and collaboration within multidisciplinary setting.

Northwood Children's Services is seeking a full time therapist. The primary responsibility of the therapist position is to provide individual, group and family therapy. The therapist utilizes a psychodynamic process employing several different approaches and methods to facilitate resolution, relief of symptoms, or problems in an individual, group or family structure.
The foundation of the therapeutic process is built from extensive information provided by the individual, family, county, court, and significant others. The therapist determines the need and direction of therapy based on the diagnostic and assessment information reviewed and analyzed by the therapist, the clinical team, and in clinical supervision. Ongoing clinical notes are maintained and reports and goals are provided to the team supervisor quarterly, or upon request.
Master’s Degree in social work, counseling or other related mental health field, plus two years of experience with families and children required. LICSW, LGSW, LP or LMFT, LPC or LPCC preferred. Licensed mental health professional or licensed eligible required. The candidate must have strong clinical skills and experience working with diverse populations. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is also required. The position requires flexibility to work some evenings and weekends, as needed.
Position Available Minnesota Epilepsy Group, a nationally recognized epilepsy practice, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Psychologist to join our program. The successful candidate would join a team of 6 psychologists representing specialties in child and adult neuropsychology and clinical psychology who work collaboratively with neurologists/epileptologists to provide inpatient and outpatient services to epilepsy patients and their families.
A background in family counseling, behavior management, parent training and staff education is highly desirable. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a postdoctoral fellowship in a hospital setting and experience with children suffering neurologic impairment and/or chronic illness is ideal but not required. This position does require a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology and the candidate must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Minnesota.
